This Spring was my very first opportunity to show my work at the Utah Art Market. I loved the whole experience! The Art Market is a great place to spend time as a shopper, but as a vendor it is a fantastic community. I was able to meet other artists and creatives, and several whose work I admire. I love how low pressure it is to sell here. Sometimes I am not great at translating my ideas into conversation. This way my work speaks for itself.

I went into this figuring it would be a learning experience. Things I learned-

• Pricing and framing takes a while. Longer than you think.

• Take more business cards than you think. I ran out and had to reorder after the first few days.

• It is worth the investment to have a set up that you don’t worry about falling down. I am so glad I purchased the grid system. It may not have been my favorite set up, but it was easy enough to put together and know it was going to hold up- a load off my mind.
